Not included

What the fee does not cover.

Short list, and it stays short. I would rather tell you now than have it come up as an invoice later.

Your domain name

If you do not already own one, it is bought in your name and billed at cost. You keep it if you leave.

A new logo

I will use the logo you have. If you have not got one, I will point you at someone rather than pretend to be a designer.

Online shops and payments

Taking card payments on the site is a different job with different obligations. Ask and I will tell you honestly whether you need it.

Google Ads

Not something I run. The site is built to be found without them, and I would rather not take money for a service I am not the best person for.

The reasoning

Why it is not just a one-off build fee.

A website is not a thing you buy once. The hosting bill continues, the security certificate expires, the software underneath it needs patching, and your prices and photographs change. Paying for a build alone means all of that quietly becomes nobody's job, which is why so many trades sites still list a number from four years ago.

The monthly fee is what makes it my job instead. It is also why changes are not billed by the hour: charging you forty pounds to swap a photograph is the fastest way to make sure the site never gets updated again.

  • Nothing to renew, nothing to remember
  • Changes cost nothing, so they actually get made
  • One bill, one person, one number to ring

The first message

Tell me your trade and where you work. You get an honest answer about whether a website will earn its keep for you, not a sales call.

Getting it built

One email with your logo, your photos and your number. No brief to write, no portal to log into, nothing typed in twice.

The day you want it changed

Message me and it is usually up the same day, at no extra cost. No ticket number, no change request form, no upgrade required.

The day something breaks

You hear it from me before a customer tells you. The site goes back to how it was yesterday and you get a plain explanation of what happened.

Two years in

Same person, same number, same price. Nobody hands you to an account manager who has to read your file first.

Get in touch

Worth it for you, or not.

Tell me your trade and where you work and I will tell you honestly whether a website will earn back £39 a month for you. Sometimes the answer is no, and it is cheaper for both of us if I say so now.
